Saucony Peregrine 8 Men
Big G Says…
The Peregrine 7 was one of the market leaders in its class of trail shoes. Light, flexible with excellent grip and cushioning.
The Peregrine 8 has an all-new design. The PWRTRAC sticky rubber lugs are deeper (6mm) for improved traction and more flex grooves have been added to allow a smoother movement over uneven ground. The rock plate has been removed to increase flexibility and to compensate, the thickness of mid-sole has been increased by 2mm.
The cushioning is enhanced by the EVERUN full-length top-sole and the comfort enhanced with a gusseted tongue to eliminate any slippage. A rubberised toe protector ensures your big toes will survive unscathed.
So Saucony continues to improve its range somewhat unusually by radically changing features on some of its successful shoes. This model is certainly more supportive and protective than previous Peregrines, but the increased weight and stack heights may not appeal to everyone. However...overall very difficult to fault.
